- To increase and improve communication regarding neighborhood interests and needs;
- To promote public improvements and other projects which will make the neighborhood a better place to live;
- To facilitate a spirit of mutual respect, community purpose, and goodwill and cooperation among residents of the neighborhood; and
- To deal with private and public agencies to achieve the foregoing purposes; provided, however,
that MAC shall not endorse candidates for public office nor engage in political lobbying in a manner that would be contrary to its standing as a nonpartisan social welfare organization
